During his career, Mr. Gumbiner has served as Chairman and Chief Executive of companies on the London Stock Exchange, The New York Stock Exchange, The American Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
Mr. Gumbiner attended the College of Law in Guildford England and qualified as a Solicitor of the English Supreme Court in 1968 with First Class Honors and distinctions in Company Law and Partnership.
He has also served on the International Board of Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas and he currently serves as a director of the Citi Private Bank Global Advisory Board.
Mrs. Gumbiner Jacobson graduated from Southern Methodist University. She started her career at Deloitte in New York, in 2003. Mrs. Gumbiner Jacobson later founded and published BeE Woman, a national magazine. She joined Hallwood in 2009, where she helped the family office identify opportunities and areas of growth concentrating on banking relationships, investment banking, deal sourcing and research.
She served on the advisory board of Citi Private Bank’s Future of Private Banking Board and currently serves on Loyola Marymount University’s Advisory Board for the Family Business Entrepreneurship Center at the College of Business. Mrs. Gumbiner Jacobson and her husband are members of YPO Los Angeles.
Mr. Lessing previously served as president and co-CEO of Hallwood Modular, which built and rented custom blast-resistant units for world-renowned refineries and chemical companies.
Mr. Lessing successfully oversaw the sale process of HMB to a buyer listed on the NYSE in March 2023.
Mr. Lessing is currently seeking new investment opportunities for Hallwood Group.
In February 2021, Neil sponsored a $230MM SPAC, The Music Acquisition Company, on the NYSE.
Neil Jacobson serves as a director on the Hallwood Financial board and Brookwood Companies board.
He is also an advisor on the JAS Aspen Board and an advisor for the Creative Community for Peace Board and was awarded the Ambassador of Peace Award in 2018.
He received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 1981.
Mr Aplin was elected to serve as a council member for Barry County Council Member University of Missouri Extension.
